The importance of taking bottom tower at 8 minutes is making non-assassin mids unviable

The inability to follow an assassin to the 4-man clusterfuck at bottom lane basically loses games.

One great way to fix this would be to stop making it desirable to turn bottom lane into a 4-man clusterfuck as soon as they hit level 6. Whoever takes bottom lane's tower first winning 73% of games is a good sign that this is fucked up and needs to be fixed

As a Leblanc one trick this is totally OK with me.

FYI, first blood turret had a ridiculously high winrate % last season as well.

My understanding of the game is as follows:

most mid players would prefer an assassin meta over a standoff mage meta. most mid players would prefer a roam, or a least a fight, meta over a push lane from your tower meta.

I think therefore we should support this transition, with some reservations:

  1. assassins can not be balanced around the idea that "it is their job to kill the other guy." They have to bring other qualities to the game such that successfully removing the other player from defending the objective is not a measure to the success of the character.
  2. bottom lane should be capable of ganking mid lane in return (without getting 1-shot and escape trololol by the mid laner). The ability of assassins to be ungankable should be restricted.
