The problem with people's views on the meta

People started taking Champs like Vayne top and doing well with it. What Vayne top? Your out of your mind. That is what they would have said in season 3.

Even the problem Champs people are going on and on about have clear counters. The counters may not commonly be found in the role you need them in but nothing is stopping you from putting them there.

I played a few games as Yorik Mid. Took me forever to find groups that would go along with it but in that time I faced a Fizz and a Zed. Both played as expected but I won lane hard in both matches.

I watch pro streams quite frequently and there are countless times I have seen them make off picks. Only when people see them in the finals do they become OMG why are you not pick/ban.

Cait top vs a Heimer (it was by accident, top picked called top while banning and took Vayne, but I didn't catch that he changed his call right before locking in, so I locked in Cait. I obediently went top anyway).

Forced Heimer out of lane immediately. He and Leona switched roles around the 10 minute mark. On that switch jungle started camping at top and within two minutes the mid laner got in on the action as well.

TL;DR: Cait top works until Leona rotates top and you get double camped.

I have never been so proud of a lane that I lost before. All I could think of was "IT TOOK THREE OF THEM FIFTEEN MINUTES TO MAKE ME USELESS!"
