But I can't do that against mages. I can dodge every skillshot and they just oneshot me with point and click abilities

And ADC too, can't dodge those 1k crit auto attacks.

honestly tho, veigar is at least weak early game, syndra and stuff is actually stupid.

Only if you build no MR or a Zhonyas, both of which will drastically cut Veigar's damage since other than boots and void his build is completely void of Mpen.

Syndra is by far the strongest midlaner in the game. She's going unnoticed though because riot is to busy trying to balance the assassins.

She isn't going unnoticed, Rito just want the consumer lust from Syndra being broken in worlds to bring them some more money before nerfing her.

Veigars abilites are skillshots or AOE drop abilities too which can be dodged. Same with Syndra. And Liss. All of those champs don't have target-able abilities except for liss ult and Malz ult and E.

But as others have said, these champs have crap all if not no mobility so if you are stupid enough to just stand and deliver with these champs and expect not to die you truly are dumb.

Assassins have kits that are incredibly mobile and even stealthy. And some even have melee/range or target-able abilities like zeds ult which puts him next to you so you CANT miss your skillshots unless you are horrible.
