How does no one see a problem with Lux

When her ult gets up to 1.3k damage in an AoE at long range with less than 1k AP. And to top it off a Veigar ult at about 1350 AP is 1900ish damage to a single target assuming 0 AP and he has to wander into their face to do it unless they were dumb enough to walk around in areas with low vision or just didn't even try to dodge the stun or counter build at all. I'm sorry but Lux didn't need any of the buffs she keeps randomly getting as long her ult can potentially do 6k damage in a team fight.

I forgot to mention that at 40% CDR Veigar ult is a 48s CD. And Lux's with about 30% CDR is a 30s CD.

See, if you're making an arguement you gotta remove the "potential" stuff

Graves ult can potentially do 675% bonus AD and over 2k damage if he hits 5 people, op nerf pls

See where that gets you? You also have to take into account the cd associated with it

And yeah, I agree. ever since her "E" change, it's become very very hard to dodge her lucent singularity, which when it hits you, slows you down and easily allows lux to follow up with Q+ult

If anything, they might hit her ult cd if they're gonna nerf her. But imo that "E" buff was un-asked for and unnecessary. Decreasing it's mana cost ( which people have been asking for months) would've been better

ult is on a 2 sec CD, so that nullifies your argument.

Lowest possible cooldown is 50s * 0.6 = 30s.

Some days I fear for the education system.

the seriousness of people these days, that they cant see a joke when it slaps them in the face

Considering the general hyperbole that people use on the boards when complaining about champions, it can be hard to tell who is joking and who is just that stupid.

You need to get off your moms couch and go catch a butterfly! it might help you. Might.

if your whole team gets hit by a lux ult you deserve to lose... the width of the ult is not very wide

Ralanr2 votes

It is wider than one would expect though.

Romans VI XXIII2 votes

pretty sure the only skill shot that exceeds it in width is namis ult lol

I have played Lux. She can be destroyed easily and be useless in a teamfight if played horribly.

If she could do well with horrible play, then she would be a problem.

Her ult has always been this way. Its like people forgot how insanely easy she is to gank and how terrible she does against aggressive laners. Tbh I think Devourer is part of the reason she's so strong right now. People just don't gank as much as they used to

She is a bully in lane. What do you mean weak to aggressive laners? Most mid laners cannot fight her early because of their mana costs and she can basically guarantee most of her damage. The only way to stop lux from getting huge is to basically cut her off from everything. But no laner right now can deal with her range and ability to bully unless they are a hard counter to her.

People also forget that sometimes people can set up a lux so it hits a ton of people. Even if she hits 3 its still 4k damage

Without a doubt she does have strong lane match ups. She is perfectly capable of bullying champs around. The problem with her lane bullying is that if you stay near your minions, she in inevitably going to shove lane which exposes her for ganks

Except she is well known for you know just rooting your jungle and walking away which removes their mobility. She doesn't really have that weak of a lane phase when she has 2 CCs and both of which have pretty good range. People seem to forget that sometimes range is a huge factor into how safe someone is. Xerath can be pretty safe, but he has the weakness of most of his damage an range requiring a self root or charge up (which can be stopped).

Her root is super easy to sidestep to begin with. Or you wait for her to use her root then gank. Just like ganking a LB. You wait for her to use distortion then go in. Lux is extraordinarily vulnerable to getting ganked. It's really not even a question, nor is it really debatable. Its always been a very well known fact that she is vulnerable to ganks. Its one of the biggest reasons she has been seen as a sub par pick for so long and why higher ELO players never used her. Once your flash is gone, the jungler sets up camp. If you use your E to harass, you shove your own wave. From that point you have to options. Inch out into lane and get ganked or lose cs until the wave gets shoved back

Romans VI XXIII1 votes

Gankability has nothing to do with the said champ, and literary 100% to do with the skill of the player. Any skilled player nows not to waste your root unless 1. u r killing your laner opponent, in which case if they gank best case for them is 1 for 1. 2. the jungler is coming. and yea go ahead side step my root, thats all i needed any ways to make a clean escape.

Any skilled player can harrase and not push hard, or maybe you want to push hard so that the minions die under turret resetting the lane every time meaning u push and then sit back and laugh as your opponent fails at CSing under turret.

Ganking is literally 100% the player, cause no matter who u r the only thing that is a 100% guarantee save is wards. And champions cant place wards, players place wards.

She has the highest win rate right now overall (and has held it for months) in Plat averages 55%. And the days when her pick rate sky rocket her win rate also sky rockets. Every single time they buff Lux her win rate goes up at least 1%.

OH WOW, REAALLY?!?!

I had no idea that Directly making a character stronger would increase their chances of winning! :0

Christ, what's next, nerfs making characters lose more?

People don't complain about Lux because immobile mages are all underpowered brave little soldiers who have to work much harder than anyone else to be good without any exception, whereas the fascist mobile master race champions are ez pz no skill faceroll champs who demolish every immobile champion in the game without having to be half as skilled as the immobile champion.

If anything, Lux's 55% win rate is too low considering how her playerbase is obviously more skilled than the sub-50% win rates of cancer mobile champions like Zed or Yasuo. Needs buffs, rito plz.

Bouncemaster Zac1 votes

The one thing that bothers me about Lux is that her E is essentially completely undodgable on lane without having a mobility spell available.

Baunjo1 votes

Not if you position yourself well...

Uiraya1 votes

Its damage is so low that she will run out of mana long before you run out of hp.

Then you come back with a cutlass.

Baunjo1 votes

All of lux's abilities are skillshots. Enough said.

someone had a bad game

If your enemy team is bad enough to stand in a perfect line and not sidestep they deserve to lose to any champ.
