Suggestion to Improve Honor participation.

Make the honor screen unskippable, and if you want to skip the honor screen, force the person to wait 30 seconds first. People who just want to skip honor will just find it faster to honor somebody, while people who really feel like no one was honorable in that game can still skip it without being punished or too inconvienced.

The skip is so you can say "none of these people were honorable". Why punish someone because their teammates weren't honorable?

Most people use the skip not because their teammates aren't honorable, but because they don't give a shit. Everyone should be participating in the honor system or else the system loses its purpose. That being said, 30 seconds is no punishment. If no one was honorable, you can just wait 30 seconds and the move on. Hell, you can probably half the time to 15 seconds or even 10 seconds.

Why force people to honor? It's supposed to be completely voluntarily, not penalizing those that don't want to participate.

Since when was the honor system supposed to be voluntary? I mean if it becomes voluntary then it loses its purpose since people just ignore it like they do in the old system. It's not even that big of a deal. All you have to do is click one button. That being said, 30 seconds isn't really a penalty unless you have ADHD. Although 30 seconds might be a bit much. Maybe 15 seconds or even 10 seconds would be enough for this. Think like the honor system in overwatch. That system works really well and I feel like they should copy parts of that system over.

it has always been voluntary, sorry you aren't getting your honors but you don't deserve any

Woah woah woah. Since when was it supposed to be voluntary? The whole nature of honoring is voluntary. It loses value if it's forced. You honor someone if they deserved it in your mind, not to just progress onto the next screen.

Also overwatck works because it's a competition of if you can get your teammate as the mvp. It also makes a fun sound.

You shouldn't be required to honor anyone. You do it if they deserve it in your mind. Does it get ignored? Yeah. I'm guilty. In the past I ONLY honored someone if they were amazing enough for me to think of it, otherwise it went right over my mind. But even then, requiring honors defeats the purpose.
