His Q is now a skillshot... when mobility creep is a huge issue. His E has a huge delay... have fun against turret divers that can easily dive you because mobility creep is a huge issue Gl landing W because of his E delay... Ult ratio reduced by 20%.... REALLY?

You forgot that q pierces enemies. I have to play him to see if it's a buff or nerf. They lowered some mana cost and cooldowns too, don't forget about that. The q Peirce allows you to get faster stacks, hence the nerf, but his full combo will deal 260% of his ap, plus 80% of his targets ap, and base. We'll see how it pans out I guess, and if your willing to leave cause of this go ahead.

it is both nerf and buff. To his stun it is nerf. But really needed one, because its instant stun if you can aim it. Nothing you can do against it.

He got some damage reduction, but with tese changes Q can be stacked much more better and quicker. So it does compensate for that. But he also got cooldown reduced on his W,E,R.

I would say that gameplay might be bit interesting. I am realy interested how this ends.

Nothing u can do against (INSERT SKILL SHOT STUN/ROOT/SNARE/TAUNT HERE),

EXCEPT DODGE IT!

Thats the point of a skill shot, if you direct it correctly you will hit alot more. The same goes with Vieg stun if you place it correctly you will hit alot more. Its up to your opponent to out play your skill shot, predict it coming and take appropriate action to bait/dodge/walk around it.

The delay is going to break him, as it will now be nearly impossible to land his stun. Which then means you wont be landing W. For instance, how many times does a malz land his Q? maybe 1/5 against a person with the same skill level. Vieg is gunna be the same way if they add a delay.

If they do ad the delay then there needs to be an increase to the stun duration, OR a major increase in CD, I know they are decreasing it a little but its gunnad have to be huge to compensate for the delay.

They are supposed to be buffing vieg after taking out DFG, the only buff I see is Q being turned into a skill shot, and some small amounts of CD reductions. But then they go and make W and E have longer delays and reduce the Ratios of R. In the end the Nerfs out way the buffs.

veig stun is not a skillshot

Skillshot is dodgable because you see it comming and you know from which direction it will come

veig stun just appears BOOM you are stunned. You cannot dodge it.

Also he was pretty much playable without DFG before. You just stack Q and build cooldown. With 1000AP you will crush every squishy champ without DFG.

Yes his stun is a skill shot, it is an AoE skill shot ( not a directional skill shot) but a skill shot none the less. Or how would u define it?

And yes it is dodgable, see above where I listed how to dodge it.

Yes he is playable with out DFB, Yes he can blow up squishy champs IF HE IS ALLOWED TO FARM IN THE EARLY GAME. But nerfing W E and R will hurt his early game VERY BADLY specially if there is a delay on his E. Not as if his early game is already shitty enough. The changes to his W and E will make it EXTREMELY hard to trade effectively early game making it even easier to push him out of lane.

The ability for a skilled vieg to insta stun is annoying and powerful if used correctly, broken no. Could it use a change, yes i think it could. Seeing as it is a mass AoE stun i think if all they did was just reduced the stun duration then it would make it less powerful/annoying. Its not the stun that is the problem. The problem is his ability to 100-0 almost any AP champ or a squishy target. BUT in order for him to do this HE MUST land his stun If he doesnt land it he will NEVER land a W thus cutting his burst damage down by over 30%. at max lvl i think the stun should last 1.2 seconds. the exact time it takes W to land. THUS allowing the target a chance to escape, cause there is a brief moment in-between when Vieg can E (stun them) the walk up and cast W on them. Scaling should look something like. .8/.9/1/1.1/1.2. This way only at max lvl are you almost always gunna get hit by the W.

Everything must be a skillshot now.

While I'm not sure about the rest of the changes, It was stupid that there was no counterside to his stun which has the size of 3/4 of the lane and it stunning 3-4 enemies or even the entire team isn't that far-fetched, it was esentially a secondary ult in his Kit.

I'll be honest, DFG for Veigar was a luxury, his damage is insane and it was just if you wanted to 100-0 a tank, as squishies won't survive your normal burst, unless you can't aim the meteor for your dear life.

Ok, my only problem with the pbe is the fact it's a skillshot, but it's easy enough to get used to. His W has gotten a HUGE buff bcuz mana His E makes more sense now, and it's only .75 seconds. Ult being reduced by 20% is nothing, considering he's still able to infinitely scale

It's not all that bad. People are overestimating how far a character can move in the roughly .4-.5 seconds you have to move after your brain and reactions have registered that his stun is coming. You E-W immediately on the champ...they can either stay put and not get stunned in the center of the Event Horizon...and eat a AoE nuke....or try to move out most likely getting stunned in the process and getting 100-0'd by his Ult-Q.

The only problem is ultra mobility champs like Ahri and Katarina will easily be able to dodge, however, champs like Ori and Syndra for instance would be toast. Worst case scenario...you just made them burn their flash vs a 12 sec cooldown spell. The real sad part is Katarina...Veigar is now no longer a hard counter to her making her that much more of a headache in 1 v 1.

Q pierces and has more range. You can farm easier and more. Meaning more AP. This also allows him to poke.

E got a delay because someone who was skilled with him could instantly stun anyone for 2.5 seconds with no counterplay. It now has counterplay and an increased range to compensate.

W got a CD reduction. Meaning he can zone and AoE more on an ability with 100% AP scaling.

R's damage change is to compensate the Q change. It also got a fixed, lower mana cost and a lower cooldown.

Bascially, if played right, his R's damage will be about the same. The rest will go up as well as each abilities viability. But they lost their "easy to land" effects.

haaaaaaaaa, no more master of evil! Or who knows, look at Ahri, everyone cried now she's on top BABY.

Junkο1 votes

Ahri got a 300-400 MS boost on her Q which is spamable as soon as you get Morellonomicon, and she already had shit ton of mobility and they made her damage less dependent on charm.

Veigar's only buffs were 1-2 sec CD buffs for W and E, which doesn't help him at all since teamfights usually last 3-4 seconds and not 10

Correct me if I'm wrong, but does anyone here actually play Veigar and understand how his abilities work? Q is currently a mid/short-range point-and-click. That sounds bad until you learn just how short the range is when compared to the skillshots of other champions (plus gapclosers...), skillshots that Veigar has trouble dodging with his cripplingly low MS and lack of mobility. Making it a skillshot might help his farm a bit, but it isn't going to help him burst people down when his W is no longer usable against champions... Veigar's W is built to be practically unusable without the intended target being stunned. 1.25 seconds is long enough for an enemy to simply walk across the AOE and not take damage. It's made to be used with Veigar's E, which just so happens to be his only defensive option in our League of Mobility. Veigar's E is what makes him viable. He needs it to land his W and to survive any gank or commitment to killing him. With a delay, any enemy with a dash can simply jump out before the stun occurs, while any immobile champ can still walk around in the AOE and dodge Veigar's W. With a delay on his E, Veigar can be killed with impunity if he's not under tower— Event Horizon can't stop anyone with mobility from simply going around or through its boundaries if it has a delay. The decrease to Veigar's ultimate's damage will make him even less useful against AD midlaners, who he can only face now through virtue of his instant E (if he can position it well). The increased potential Q farm might help, but Talon and Zed will both be able to dodge his Q via their mobility skills in addition to laughing at him every time he uses W— no decent player with mobility at his/her disposal will ever be caught by Veigar's E stun unless Veigar has an ally force them into it.

TL;DR: Some cooldown and mana cost reductions are nice and all, but adding a delay to Veigar's E without fixing his W's reliance on it (plus making his Q somewhat reliant on the stun) or giving him some other way to keep enemies off of his face will break him. R.I.P. Veigar.
