Aw comeon rito with malz.
Just keep his Q and E the same, move his void portal from ulti back to W, and just make his voidlings his passive but summon on every spell use as an add on passive.
I'd rather just have voidlings summon but they're easily killed in one hit be an add on passive than a full skill.
So it would go like this:
Passive- Current spell shield stays and additionally every time malz's spell does damage or he AAs 3 times he summons a weak voidling(Once per damage instance); Voidlings die in one hit from non-winion sources. They have base AS+malz's bonus AS, minor AP scalings, respectable BONUS AD scalings, no empowerment on multiple summons, only thing they additionally get is more damage to lane winions. Turrets have a lower priority on them than winions.
Q- Same as Live
W- pre-rework's Void portal (A bit lower on the rank 2/3/4/5 max hp % damage though)
E- Same as Live
R- Void tether, does some BASE damage no % max hp, and every time it ticks damage summons a weak voiding.
-
This would fix issues of jungle malz since it'll need to reach level 3 to really start jungling, and it wouldn't just take out camps as easily unless it was gromp or the buffs who are alone(baron/dragon have AoE damage usually)
-
AD malz could still work without it being the core focus which even ad malz mains complain they didn't need, plus with the new mechanics they'd have more voidlings to play with.
-
Support malz won't be as annoying thing since voidlings die easily in one hit and there's 2 enemy laners.
-
In a teamfight the voidlings wouldn't be annoying to deal with yet still be there more often since while you summon a lot players could grab a hurricane/hydra/sunfire which is why you have your normal kit to fight
-
They don't need huge damage, just give them some light and low base damage with a low AP scaling for AP malz, but they have a respectable BONUS AD scaling for AD malz to actually get them to do heavy damage when enabled by AD malz.
-
Make these voidlings a lower priority for turret than minions. They're easily dealt with in 1 attack, champions near the turret can kill them.
-
We might even see some hybrid build
I'd probably have more to say, but I just really think void swarm could have been executed differently. But the upcoming rework is not the answer.
