Resolve keystone changes i would love to see personally, bit of a rant lol

I don't really like Bond of Stone it feels unimpactful the 4% reductions really isn't strong or very noticeable on a tank and you take 6% from your allies damage which also feels weak We now also have an item which basically does the same item 3109 The 12% feels like it matters and the interaction is good. But with boss on top it is just obscene and unnecessary with the amount of lifesteal around too.

I think this keystone could be something new entirely

Personally i would love Something like Toughskin to be here making you block like 3% of bonus health after resistances this wouldn't do much at full health but makes you more difficult to kill if you survive an initial burst of damage like what happens in team fights, you get low due to all the crap flying your way as you initiate and then even the support can finish you off. CoC already helps with that but his would work differently as it would require focus from more heavy damage dealers to finish you off like the mage or ADC or anyone with hard hitting stuff really. Whilst CoC prevents you from getting low in the first place This one would help you tough out more extended fights where you do get low.

Grasp of Undying could also be changed what if instead of doing damage it would sap mana/energy/rage or health if resourceless target And then healing you

Removing the damage aspect but instead granting a different way of tanking, you keep sapping away at the enemies resource to damage & fight you whilst you heal when doing so

The healing wouldn't be straight up as effective as CoC in making you tanky for example but gives you some in combat sustain with the main bonus here making your enemy weaker over time by getting rid of their resources to fight you, if they let you attack them long enough they will simply run out of gas

Sap health and mana?

That'd be pretty neat actually.

yea well it kind of leeches mana and then returns that to you as health same with energy and fury/rage bars Only time it would leech hp is is when they are resourceless to not make it useless vs those champs

So it doesn't really give you mana back though i suppose it could do that but just converting the sapped resource to health is fine imho

Why?

because shields can be balanced differently than hp and regen which both cause much toxicity.

It would also lessen the impact of sustain on tanky champs that deal tons of damage

There are other reasons too but long story short if you look at shielded damage as evasion you'll see why yasuo functions as he does. Many games have an equivalent, parried and evaded damage. you can even have abilities that trigger when a shield is damaged.

item 3053 does the same thing, rather than actually making you tanky it occasionally lets you dodge something so you live to make big plays

Steraks gives you tank stats, as well as a shield when you get bursted. It is a tank item, meant for Tanks and their subclasses.

And that's why it was changed. That doesn't change the fact the people abusing it would be the same people who would take it, should it be in the ferocity tree.
