Radius of W sliglty smaller. Empowered W gives grounded effect for .75 seconds if the target is pulled to the center

Win Rate is not the only way to determine in a Champion is weak or not. Viktor is a good pick still and will remain to be the problem is that AP items are weak. Compare him to other mid laners and Viktor isnt the best but hes up their in terms of his Tier i put him around the A tier. to Determine if a champion is weak a lot of things aside from just win rate need to be taken into consideration. i think his biggest fault is the fact he has to build the hextec item but its so good on him i understand why he builds it. Win rate can be skewed if new or bad players a playing the champion so don't be fooled and let that be your only stat to determine value, also its a team game so vik could be doing fine and his team is feeding and he gets a loss.

the win rate I'm taking is plat+. Sure, win rate by itself doesn't determine whether a champ is weak or strong (azir/lee are good examples). However I am talking about buffing his mid/late game will making his laning phase weaker, which is a problem Riot has stated

Plat and Diamond 5-2 players can fuck that up, if you want honest win rates look in challenger and competitive. I agree he could use some love but i think its more around his itemization. He has a huge crutch to over come only having 5 inventory slots His damage is fine where it is, but i think when we see the new runes and Masteries roll out hopefully some new items in the new season AP mages will come back into style.

Oh no, that would be a terrible idea if you want accurate data. Just looking at the top .2% of the player base does not yield significant enough results to warrant accurate depictions of how a character is behaving

However I agree AP itemization lacks more diversity and better build paths

Riot wants to move power out of his waveclear and on to something else. Also 48% isn't must buff tier.

It is tho..I mean its not a "this champion is unplayable" by any means but a 48% win rate champ unless you are talking about Azir/ Ryze/ Vayne etc needs to be buffed.

Also I really don't think they can rmeove wave clear from Viktor without changing his kit in some way

victor if played right can deal tons of damage
he is a hard champion that's why you see him mostly on high elo games

I'm a plat player and I know for a fact that I am not good lol I make plenty of mistakes.

Statistically speaking you are a very good player, which is what matters https://www.leagueofgraphs.com/rankings/rank-distribution

Maybe, but I think the big thing is some people get a rank playing specific champions and when they aren't playing the champion that got them their rank they have a huge drop off in skill. I know plenty of diamond players when they play a different role, which happens from time to time, they are like a fish out of water. This is where I think one tricks can really have some good input on champions.

He doesnt have any clear tools against the meta mid laners such as Orianna, Syndra, and sometimes Taliyah. He also struggles against high ranged midlaners as well, so you should either increase the overall slow of W or make slight q buffs imo

DeadUnborn1 votes

The problem with adding more slow to W is that when itis empowered you could run into a problem of certain champions not being able to escape it. Maybe having some sort of reset on Q or some other change could work though

isn't his Q are like a 4 second CD max rank with no CDR anyways? a laser Reset maybe more up his ally since his Q CD is alrdy so short. Maybe if you proc the entire Gravity Field his laser will come off cd

DeadUnborn1 votes

yeah that is why I said "or some other change". Maybe an extension on the shield if you proc Q on a champion? I would be hesitant to have the E reset, as it deals way to much damage to have on a short CD.

His empowered laser is a great clearing tool with great range, and his giant gravity zone protects him from Dives. His Q is a great trading tool. if he really has a big wave to clear and the laser isn't good enough he can always ult, I don' think wave clear is his issue, It's AP items being weak and his poor itemization options because he has an item he is forced to build.

The problem is that when Vikor can wave clear fast there isn't much his opponents can do against him. However i agree the entire mage class would benefit from more itemization options -- especially those that would build more efficiently and support different playstyles (artillery, battlemage and burst)
