I beat her in lane, and she still ends up two shotting me with infinity edge/runnans. Every single time. I could stomp her and have two items over her and her q, a headshot auto, and her ult will still instant kill me. She out ranges me and out damages me, scales one of the best of the adcs into late game, and doesnt even have to do anything to win lane. Seriously what the fuck.

infinity edge + runnan's will give any ranged champion crazy amounts of damage, try it on soraka and you'll see :P

Most adcs have a way to close the gap, yes she'll poke you in lane with her autos but you must look for the right time to hard engage her, be aggressive and she won't be able to respond in time because Cait is jerky and slow AF, most of her damage is telegraphed and she has no real AS steroid, use a champion that can outscale her AS or damage and her range will only serve 1 auto on you.

Lucian for example is amazing against cait, he's swift and can burst her down by weaving his skills

You'd be amazed at how many people don't dodge my Cait Q's. I don't even expect it to hit, I mainly just use it to waveclear. Yet one of the most telegraphed abilities in League gets them every time. LOL

The fact that you don't have an answer shows how biased you are. Objectively over-tuned champion atm and you don't have any advice you can offer, despite 'maining' her in bots/normals.

You close the gap with her, pick anything that has poke like corki or ezreal or something that has a gap closer like vayne or lucian, if champions have range it's usually because they don't want to be near anything. Sivir and ashe are good picks too, just shove the wave in her face and let the minions do the work, her waveclear is highly reliant on conditions, she can get low the wave with Q but she needs to auto it several times in order to push it effectively. Or pick jhin, you just walk at her and you 4-shot her.
