@Riot When can you tell us about the Yorick updates?

Honestly, I'd prefer you guys talking to us before making any severe changes in his kit.

P.S. Same with Taric, haven't heard much about either, all we know is that they're getting changed.

Well do a search on Yorick with Riot posts in the past week, you'll see about 3 days ago a thread popped up that several responses happened. The most important of which is that SolCrushed is working on the design (which means kit and such), from looking at what they did with Viktor's kit and Poppy's I think Yorick is in good hands. Also the artwork is supposed to be done by the person who worked on Azir (Lonewingy), so the look is probably gonna be awesome.

SolCrushed did such a good job with Poppy that I'm pretty certain we're gonna get something amazing. I'm just hoping they get rid of some of the AI issues by making the ghouls more placed and attack the area or direction they are placed, could be far more interesting than just spamming ghouls, they could be used to set up traps and other things then, way more outplay potential.

I already read that post, but we have no idea how they're actually changing Yorick. All we know is that it's gonna be a huge change, but with no context on what exactly the change is.

Somewhat true, but we still haven't heard much regarding Taric and he's due out soon, likewise we didn't hear or see much about Poppy until she was nearly released as well. I trust it'll all be good though, Poppy's kit is fantastic now, and the same person who worked on her is working on Yorick, so it's probably going to be good. All we can do now is hope it works out well and keep our eyes on the news feeds for information. :)

As far as in-house. . . I don't see why they would not be working on it in house regularly right now, but must assume they have several things going on at once and time is precious, can't be here talking about what's going on and where it's all headed or the hype will be burned up before he even reached us and then no one would play him when he gets that rework done.

i'd be shocked if Yorick has gotten anywhere near in-house down at Riot. That means they don't have enough of a cohesive idea to share with us & they don't want a repeat of Ao Shin by giving info too early
