You know what I blame for the imbalance?
The PBE
Hear me out on this, what's the point of the PBE? From the PBE FAQ it says,
"We rely on testers' feedback to help find bugs in new content, flesh out new features, and confirm that a champion or update is well-tuned before they go live."
Now, they say "well-tuned" but does that include balance? I understand PBE isn't as stable in terms of ping, matchmaking, etc, but when something does WAY too much damage (such as 7.21 Galio) at level 1 with no lead, why is it not taken care of? Most of the changes hit live despite such outcry from the boards (inb4 it's a minority. Anyone can come here or the PBE boards to say something is too strong) and the last major revert I remember was the Riven Edge mechanic being removed after nearly every Riven main (BoxBox, Adrian, and I think Dekar included) said it made her way too strong and boring.
Off the top of my head, few things are ever reverted on PBE. Why? Why don't we USE this server for testing? You want to know why the PBE used to be so desired but lately people don't care? (Aside from the fact it's easy to access now) it's not going to change anything, and it's just become Streamer/YouTuber preview playground. Why go on to try the new Swain rework when I'm sure I'll see 27 videos on it in like 3 hours? Why would I want to play it when I know my feedback won't do anything?
Riot, please use the PBE as a BALANCE ground and not a bug test zone, because most bugs are hard to find and you can hire people for that.
