Why are people still banning Mundo?
Come on, you only have to spend 800g
to counter him, and picks like
are way more of a threat.
Why are people so allergic to using
over
?

Why not get both?
I ban Graves.
Cause fuck Graves' broken ass kit.

because more damage lol.
Mmh, I think for certain team comps he's still banworthy (in lower Elo's of course), just because it can be super hard to manage playing against him once he's ahead and has a team to back him up. But yeah I agree, I just don't get why people still ban Darius, Tahm Kench (like srsly, he was gutted quite hard) or Vayne. I'll have weirdo bans sometimes because I feel like the champ is a way too danerous counter for me or my team and this is up to everybody himself, but if our support bans Darius while I play top or the mid laner bans Tahm Kench I just want to tell people they should start to think about what really is banworthy and what is not. In normals that's alright, I'll ban Lee Sin in normals from time to time even when I counter him hard so I don't have to play with/against this guy 24/7 . But when I see those bans that would just get destroyed by our team and that are actually not even overwhelming right now I just want to put them into a fucking classroom and let them learn some basic understanding of what can be a good/bad ban.
Hes still a brick wall that invalidates towers worse than any other champion. Even with executioners, he cant be stopped. It takes so many resources to drop him unless you have vayne.

Well, thanks for saying, but I already knew that about
.
isn't nearly as bad since a lot of his health comes from healing.

Nah, his durability comes from being able to build pure tank and still destroy you. He doesn't even need his ult after 5k health and warmogs.
Malphite still dies less and takes much less damage overall despite the fact that he doesn't always build full tank. Mundo's inflated "damage taken" stat is evidence that he relies on more on healing than he does durability.

I'm not saying Malphite isnt overtuned. Many tanks that build defense and get offense are a problem when allowed to be too strong. Maokai was like that for a while and Mundo often has times when he becomes crazy as defense gets better. I don't have the answers on how to balance tanks and make them not completely insane. Tanks have a tendency to either be walls of explosive damage or complete crap.
Edit: Doesn't change the fact that Executioners Calling and it's later items do nothing to actually stop Mundo. Giant's Slayer is underwhelming and building both is crazy slot inefficient.
Even if you get those items. Mundo will still fuck you over. The amount of sticking power he has if he lands his Cleavers which deal a fuck ton of damage. Especially if built right. I remember my last game of mundo. I just ran past the tanks to their backline and killed their Syndra/Cait even with peel from thresh and Cait's nets. I got to both of them.
Malphite's abilities are weakened in solo q being he takes decent communication to make him really good.
