just gonna say something about zoning.

for anyone who zones i understand its purpose. its to limit exp/gold by keeping them basically afk aka not enjoying the game but isnt it kinda unfair/toxic thing to do taking advantage of your level/champ advantage? just a reminder: im not mad about people doing this after all i understand its purpose. why not add a passive gold generation to missed CS counter zoners so it can be more interactive if your in exp range you should get plus 3 or so gold so that your not stuck playing "lol i love playing idle legends" in other words. if your in the edge of exp range you get rewarded some gold keep in mind though it activates at the near edge of exp range so it isnt abused.

Edit: this is simply so the hard "countered" champ has a chance to still be relevant after laning is done.

im guessing some people like playing darius or some other massive zoner hates comebacks prefers a farming lane with open lane.

No, I zone for the exact opposite reason. I don't want a farming lane, I want my opponent to decide to fight me, roam and lose more, or be useless. I either A: picked for early game and need to justify that pick, or B: won lane anyway and am in a position to abuse it. Providing a passive free laning experience completely destroys the skill set of winning lane, it doesn't matter if I get ahead now, and it doesn't matter if I know how to use that aheadness.

It's possible to survive losing lanes and scale, but fuck everything about rewarding sitting there under tower as you lose. Passive gold gen is already at a healthy amount.

finally someone who talks to me :D.

anyways.... im saying a passive regen at the very edge though they would still be at risk of damage from a enemy champion. maybe exp range could be reduced though.

What is the benefit? All you're doing is allowing lost lanes to lose less. Unless you decrease the range enough, in which case you're doing the exact opposite of what you want.

There's a critical range that any champ can hold a zone. Darius is a full q's width, which would take a significantly large range decrease to the exp range to reach the point that an opponent is forced to fight. Most lane bullies are in the darius range, where if they're still keeping up their cs on a perfectly frozen wave they can keep their opponent from csing but not from earning exp. It's pure gold denial, that you use to create an item lead for later advantages. Your opponent must respond to this (with one of the 3 options above) and if they pick the third, then they deserve to get absolutely fucking stomped when I have a full item and they've got 1/3rd of one. Passive gold Gen removes this advantage, and means your zoning is only effective when it's outside the range, which means the person is not getting exp or gold. Effectively, no lane bully is a bully now unless they have the range threat to generate that, but the moment they do their opponent no longer exists. No exp, no gold Gen, they're 100% fucked. Thats not healthy at all, on either side of the spectrum.

basically its a case of ranged bullies become worse therefore its better currently. what are the 3 options though.

Ranged bullies become way stronger on your system. It would honestly be a huge buff to my velkoz, but super toxic too.

The 3 options are fight me, roam, or sit there (getting exp, waiting for a gank if the wave is improperly frozen)

How do you roam as a immobile top laner though?

Depends on a lot of things.

Wave frozen at enemy tower and your mid is pushed in? Get walking, go in from next to their turret (not river) and force a flash.

Enemy jg camping bot? Ward up their top jg while they're gone, and next time they come to farm ping your jg/mid to join you fighting them, or solo them if you've got the strength.

Wave frozen more to the mid? Grab scuttle or ward deep river, so you're setup for your own jungler to gank you, no one below high elo can hold a mid-lane freeze for long.

Pushed in, don't roam. Don't fuck your wave. Get the cs you can under tower, and never take free hits. Trade them. That way your jungler has options, Esther than seeing a 100% hp enemy vs a 50% hp 300g sack of an Allie.

oh cool i see the options now :D at least your saying something constructive instead of going "derp" mode on me. lol

Sò... you want people to be able to completely loose lane and no matter how skilled the enemy is, still get gold and xp?

That would remove all lane bullies from the game and turn it into just all about the late game, meaning that pre 20 mins a skill gap will be irrelevant since everyone will reach full build even if they get outplayed so hard they have half the cs of their opponent.

Actually how can you call it out playing if your damage is so op early that you can't farm properly. Now tell how does it help me on any way or form to be at lvl 3 while a enemy is probably at lvl 5 or 6. Tell me how does it help me if I can't cs or sponge off exp vs a freeze? There's no out playing stats. 3 little gold coins will not kill lane bullies.
