For the past 5 consecutive patches.

People are still raging on these boards over hecarim and vi LUL. This little shit has been a nuisance for a LOOOOOOOONG TIME now. And the recent hardcore jungle nerfs didn't affect him one single bit, because he doesn't have to fight the jungle creeps unlike every other jungler in the game.

Who knows, we'll see where he sits after his ult nerfs in 7.3 go through, but im skeptical that it'll change him much.

He has literally been the absolute best jungler for over a month, even during the heyday of courage vi.

ivern is overturned, specifically on his shield slow and stick potential. however its not an ivern 1v1ing you, its simply the gross power of the jungle position.

nerf jungle and ivern will be a lot better all around as is. we know jungle nerfs are coming and its going to hurt everyone, i'd just hate to see ivern get double whammyd.

And people said he'd be garbage. Lol

I think Ivern's a great example of how a champion can be strong without being frustrating. Conversely, there are many examples that are frustrating without being particularly strong.

really? I find him frustrating. You can almost never kill his team with his E + redemption + locket, and when you try to do anything as a melee champion his ult cockblocks you for literally an entire minute, endlessly knocking you up.

Ivern is a good example of a champion that can strong without doing tons of damage. He's definitely still very frustrating; just not for the same reason that the other OP junglers are. Hell, Ivern is the Janna of the jungle, and you'd better fucking believe that Janna is frustrating.

Ivern can be good if you know how to rotate

You may want to take a look at other websites with larger sample sizes than op.gg.

Most statistics certainly have Ivern high on the list, but his play rate is fairly low, so I don't see a massive problem.
