Somehow, yet again, Riot has fucked us over for something we desperately wanted

Yes this is a bitch post about the ban system that was announced. "Oh, such an original post in the last 24 hours about it"- SHUT IT! There's a pretty good god damn reason almost everyone is upset about this.

How can Riot think this was ok to pass to us as a ban phase system? "oh but it's to help prevent certain champs from being permaban all the time" what's to say that certain champs won't already be permabanned in this system?!? What honestly makes you think that champs like won't be perment choices to ban, varying across elos?

On top of this, the fact that we can't see the enemy bans means we possibly waste multiple bans. Why? Why should we have to play a fucking mind game of thinking "hmmm the enemy team might ban X champ so I won't ban that champ" but the enemy team also has that same fucking idea, so nether of your teams end up banning that champ and now it's a race to see which team can get him first if they're OP of the month/patch.

You could possibly, extremely low and rare chance of it but still, even just get 5 bans with both teams picking the exact same bans, less total bans than we had before! Again, it's very rare and most likely will not ever happpen, but that possiblility is still there.

I can already think of so many other ways the ban system could have been better, like blue/red/both pick/ 2 blue/2 red/ they pick/ last two blue/ last two red/ they pick, or first 3 ban on each team then they pick and then the last two ban and then pick. Why didn't they make so people could get some bans in but could grab other champs for themselves or teammates so some of them don't have a full 100% ban rate? 'Cause like I said some champs are going to be permaban no matter what.

Even more Riot hasn't even mentioned, let alone thought about people missing their bans and getting everyone kicked back out into searching for a match, why not just do what HotS does and make it so if you don't ban in time, you just lose your fucking ban and everyone doesn't get booted back out searching for a match?!

The more changes Riot makes like this, the more respect I lose for them. And anyone who tells me that this system will be good, no matter who you are I will always argue against you, as will many others. Call it whatever you want, to me this is complete shit and, to me, downright lazy for Riot to come up with.
