Who are some low skill floor high skill cap champions I can have fun with

d4rkshock··1 votes·4,022 views

For my next champion, I'm looking into some of the high skillcap shit that have low skill floors. I want to be able to pick them up and not look like in wood 6 so someone like Azir is out of the question. So far the first one who comes to mind is Ryze . Once you learn the basics combo's he's not too hard but you need to know how to survive long enough to outscale your opponent and then there's some super complex combo's that take allot of skill to do. Another is Yasuo but I'd consider myself a trashuo. Sure champions like shyvana have taken me from b5 to b2 and can and will get me to silver but once people learn how to beat those super low skill cap champions, they will start to struggle. Sure you can get to diamond with just about anyone. Im Just planning ahead and want to spice things up. So who are some low skill floor high skill cap champions

Both high skill floor and ceiling.

Yasuo is definitely a fun choice and he can be a beast when you git gud w/ him, Yorick i think has a decently high skillcap and is pretty rewarding i just started playing him

Oh if only you had had the chance to play old Yorick. He was way more fun than current Yorick. You could literally drive the enemy laner out of lane and 1 v 3 all day long.

Did play the old Yorick, and he wasan't as fun as this one. New Yorick it's literally a Raid Boss, as he can 1v5 and still be alive for 10-20 seconds, enough on top , enough to let our team to push. (Been there, done that). You can't 1v5 all day long, but it's more than enough to win a game.

You- How dare you say old Yorick isn't fun! He was incredibly fun! Droppin' ghouls on fools! With old Yorick you could literally sit behind the enemy's tower and just farm while they either sat under their T2 or T1 and attempt to get what little cs they could. If you got ganked no problem! Drop 4 ghouls and *Poof * 40% dmg reduction! Slow for days. Heal for eternity. Run out of mana and crawl into the fetal position and accept your fate. Die to the enemy team only to be revived and kill them again! Enemy team killed your ADC? No problem he's a zombie now! 4 v 5? No problem ult your ADC and bam +1 extra player.

This is proof! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HS4r5nat0S0

Said that he wasan't fun as the new one. Never said that he wasan't fun. As i can survive 1 v 5, making the enemy team 2 v 1 me while i splitpush top, and still can't be stopped. They either have to stop me on top with a 1 v 3 / 1 v 5 in order not to loose inhib, or they have to slowly defend, while i chew trhu da damm turret. Anyway, both yorick's are fun, and i don't need proof, as i enjoyed old Yorick. The new one just make more sense to me, since i'm a lore junkie

MasterYi lane ? The skillfloor to understand his abilities is stupidly low, how to make him work, understand when to fight or not because you're mostly all in without escapes and have the perfect reaction timings for q/w, managing perfect w auto-resets is decently skilled

Some cool Yi stuff

Low skill floor, higher skillcap / potential, imo.

Teemo - always fun. mute your team though because no matter what you do you're going to be flamed. Shaco - clown jokes in /all chat. difficult to play outside of the jungle, but when you're in lane you can tilt your opponent through good humor. Evelynn - you're invisible at level 6. make suggestive, but tactful dirty jokes in /all chat. it's hilarious so long as you're TACTFUL. Mundo on the opponents team makes it better.

as far as getting out of bronze v... why would you ever want to? it's so nice there.

but bro! bronze v is the only non-toxic ranked division. everyone knows they're bad (because of all of the hate we get from the upper tiers) so people just get along and dont say anything. it's like being at work with a bunch of gerbils who want you to feed them and pooh on the floor. you know it's going to smell ahead of time and your back will hurt when you're done, but everyone else feels the same way. you're just there to get paid for the amount of ridiculous efforts you put in and go home to a family that hates you, but needs you for the money you provide. it's great!.

I actually still see people who are b5 in my games. If you want a bon toxic division, get to mid gold. All I know is silver is probably the most cancer rank. I've heard horror stories of how toxic it is. Then in bronze there's just plays that make you say what the fuck or wierd picks that are considering inting like sorraka top. I even went wukong mid in a ranked game by accident and destroyed and I didn't even know it was ranked. I meant to do normals since I don't main wukong and was just trying shit out and my team thought I was trolling.

Depends on what you mean by "low skill floor". Azir before these last couple of patches is someone I would've put on this list as his laning was brain dead and you scaled well. As long as you took an hour or two to practice farming he was super easy to pick up. If you want something with less than a few hours of basic practice I can't think of too many.

That being said a few who are fairly easy to pick up (with a few hours practice) and have high potential are Ahri Corki Lucian Orianna Ryze Syndra TwistedFate Veigar Velkoz Xerath Zed Zoe. All of these have either long range safety, high wave clear, or high bully potential at little cost. In low levels these all are good qualities to have a good laning phase. When mid game comes around almost all of them have a massive power spike which makes winning skirmishes and team fights easier. After that ending the game shouldn't be too difficult.

In general I think that mid lane itself is a pretty low skill floor, high skill cap lane. So if you plan on sticking around mid you might want to focus on learning base timings, roam timings, match ups, map awareness, warding spots, invade timings, etc. more than focusing on mastering a champion right now.

The riskiest champs to try to pick up are the ones like yas that have very high aggro potential, but you have to commit to fights. Because if you dont know what you CAN and CANT do you're likely to die for free more often. Somethin like Cass, syndra or viktor though have some pretty interesting mechanics but are abit more forgiving because you can pick your fights from range.
