ppl dont realise how stupid his move speed ability ( dont even know which one is it) is because all the shitty gold/plat zileans only use it on themselves to run around. not to mention his ulti is stupid.

I played him a couple times. His ultimate is deceptively tricky to use. It might seem broken, but try using it effectively in the chaos of a team fight and suddenly it doesn't seem so broken anymore. With AOE, dashes and blinks flying all over the place, it's kinda hard to predict which of your team mates is gonna die in the next 5 seconds. Don't get me wrong, sometimes it's obvious which team mate you need to ult but a lot of times, it's not so clear and you end up wasting it on someone who doesn't die, or they die a split second after the spell wears off when it could have been used to save someone else or you could have timed it better. There is nothing more frustrating than wasting a high cooldown spell like that for absolutely no gain.

True, if players could use Zilean ult perfectly, he would probably be broken, or at least very strong.

Yea, it's pretty damn broken in the right hands. Also, it's autowin late game when people start building GA and they start looking for that ace to win the game. It's nearly impossible to win a late game team fight with a Zilean and team mates that have GA. Not only do you have to deal with his allies' GA, Zilean's ult acts as a kind of situational GA which adds an element of unpredictability to the fight. But the absolute worst is when Zilean himself is fed and doing a billion damage and he builds GA. God the nightmares.

Overall, I'd describe his ultimate as a late game thing. Deaths have a lot more impact late game. Early and mid game, it's not so dangerous in the average player's hands.

Zilean:

Has one damaging move Rest are solo buffs, team buffs, or enemy debuffs that do no damage.

He has a pretty low pick rate.

I don't know what you're on, but Zilean can actually be somewhat underpowered in some cases.

I'm on the fence as to whether he needs nerfs but yea, he is kinda broken. A legit ban if you're playing support. My main gripe with him is that he has too much fuckin range. I don't get why they nerfed Soraka's range yet leave the ridiculous range on his bombs untouched. His bombs have far more impact that Soraka's Q ever had.
