Gold items were too OP, so now you can only have 1...

Because comparing an item that everyone can buy to a single champion's ability--one around which they are designed and balanced--is a totally equivalent comparison.

Draven's passive gives more gold (or just as much) than 2 gold items. And no he's not balanced LOL. He's the kind of champion who dominates all game even if you deny him in lane because of his free gold.

A passive that gives free gold really isn't that different than an item that gives free gold. The difference is supports had to pay for their gold items. Draven just gets it free. Sorry for double post. Meant to edit instead.
It's the same mechanic, but one is balanced for champions across the board, while the other is balanced specifically for that champion, because it only affects that champion.
Your opinion is duly discarded on top of the pile of wood-tier trash that argues with me daily.
Yes, his passive can give more gold than gold gain items. That doesn't make it overpowered.

Actually it does, along with his 'q'.
Because no other marksman has damage output or personal utility--oh, wait, shit. They all do. It's just not in the exact same form that Draven has.
Meanwhile Twisted Fate.
Draven sucks if he doesnt get an early kill, kill him before he cashes in on his early stacks and you win lane
