Just another day in ranked

What is meta or off meta changes by season. Right now tanks in top are very offmeta, when back in S7 and beginning of S8 you'd see them almost every match.

Dude, even in season 4 shit like Lux and Morgana bot lane were super meta. Lux was my second support champion I used even if people got really mad that I did so much damage I would accidentally steal the kill a lot. Like I'm sorry q, e, auto was enough to kill the sona at level 2. My account is only level 12, give me a break. I started building shit tons of warmogs cause they stacked and it made it easy to give the kill to the adc but not die if I get caught out or something. I mean even Lulu is a poke mage support and she was back in season 2.

What you mean is stuff like Brand, Veigar, and Fiddlesticks which are NOT supports, just some random ass mage plocked down in botlane because spellthief allows it and it's really hard to make it so that you kick them out while leaving in lux, morg, karma, and lulu.

One of the main things too is that when Brand and Fiddlesticks were becoming popular support picks, most people did it in normals first and ranked stayed mostly on meta while norms turned into a fucking horrible hellscape of someone wanting to play soraka and instantly dying every time they got to turret. Then it slowly bled into ranked as it became the norm. That is entirely different from "I'm gonna do ultimate bravery in ranked"

Sure it's off meta to go ap trist. Should you test it out for the first time in ranked? Fuck no you shouldn't! That makes you an asshole because you bring down your entire team if it doesn't go too well.

You can't be serious? So you want Riot, in all their glorious brilliance they have demonstrated in the last 4 seasons to only allow certain champs to be played in certain roles? Why have ~140 champs if only ~25 can be played (let's say 5 per role)? FUN! Should we all be required to have some kind of social worker to hold our hands irl while waiting to respawn?
