Where is the straight Magic Resist item?

Banshee's Veil is probably a hell of a lot more useful than a straight MR item. A regenerating spellshield that will negate ALL damage from a spell that hits it instead of just reducing it based on MR? Yes please.

Honestly if you need more than a Banshee's Veil in terms of sheer MR, get a Maw of Malmortius. Nifty secondary shield for when your life is getting lower, with a scaling AD passive? It's a sadly overlooked item for most fighter builds but it's gotten me out of many a sticky situation with Shyvana, Wukong, and Vi.

Issue is that magic damage dealers get screwed by magic resist a lot harder than attack damage dealers do by armor.

Force of Nature was about as close as it got since it offered the most MR out of all the items available at the time alongside no HP, just HP Regen and Speed. (+40 HP Regen, 76 Magic Resist, 8% Movement Speed)

I seriously wish they'd just add that item back in the game with a new Passive since they gave Warmog's it.

I think mr items really need to be tougher... seeing how there are +120 ap items, I'm expecting the magic thornmail to be like +150 mr ;l

Yea id be fine with a Magic Resist item that had a thornamail OR warmongs type passive.

A complete opposite to thorn mail would be cool imo
