At least 2 people teamed up with my ADC and said I was a dick for not letting him play Jhin in a ranked game. All saying they were going to report me. This can't be allowed. Get rid of week 1 new champions in ranked ffs.

in normals? yeah, kind of a dick move to ban who your team wants to play.

in ranked? fuck that guy, you definitely did the right thing. wouldn't want a first time jihn fucking up my ranked game either. can't blame you at all.

I don't think it's reportable but it's a huge douchebag move and very arrogant. If you have such an air of self-importance to ban the champion I want to play on purpose, I'm probably first timing something just to spite you.

OP did the right thing; sorry.

"Oh but he could be a natural" oh shut the fuck up; we're not that naive.

So me not wanting to watch my adc stand there reading his abilities overtime he goes to level one is a D-Bag move?

I look at it this way, if you are one of the last 3 players on your team, you are allowed to ban literally any champ that you want. If you hate seeing the enemy have a particular champ, ban them. If you have a hard time synergizing with a champ when they are on your team, ban them. If you simply hate the way a champ looks, ban them. It is your ban to do with as you see fit.

It's a valid report, It's called griefing.

Blame Riot for not taking him out of Ranked or Norms. Also If you want people to play what you think deemed acceptable. Is it ok for everyone to search up and see you're terrible with Braum ( you are ) and you're now not allowed Pick Intent him until your stats are what they deemed acceptable?

Same thing. You don't know if that person is a natural Jihn player, let him play or dodge.

Dude, I had my own friend play Jhin with me in ranked and he fed 0/5 in 15 minutes. New champions should just be disabled in ranked queues.

Ask if his attack speed build or his crit build is better. If they don't have an answer then it's totally fine to ban them. You should know the strengths and weaknesses for the build paths for the champion you are about to play in ranked.

You have the right to ban whomever you wish. There was no guarantee they'd get it, and generally players aren't good enough to use the newest character effectively right off the bat. Them reporting you will do nothing, just ignore them.

Yeah, ban him if your team wants to play him in ranked. However, when I just want to play him in normal draft and everyone bans him just because it's new, it sucks. Wish we still had teambuilder, would be happy to wait an hour for a chance to play him.

Personally I'd probably do it myself if given the chance. You get the ban, you ban who you choose. If you want to play Jhin and you just got him, I'd say you should either queue with friends, or don't go into ranked.

Disabling a champ in the first few days is probably bad form. If a high level player actually does pick up a new champion faster then you do, that's not something they should be held back from showing off. And you should definitely get the opportunity to play against Jhin in a serious environment where players seriously want to win.

That being said, I'd say just go ahead and allow them to report players but don't do anything about it. Those guys have serious anger and frustration issues that aren't conducive to a healthy environment and if anything, they should probably get sanctioned or whatever just for wasting the time of everyone who checks out those reports.

All in all; Nothing bad happened here. Move along.
