I do, that was last year, and it was really only Darius and the occasional Mundo (Morde was pretty much permabanned).

VivaLaKitten1 votesit's not so easy when it happens every 5 seconds while you're trying to kill minions as a melee champion and its not so easy to predict her E which literally makes you take damage unless you run away preventing you from getting minions and as soon as you get back she does it all over again, you can't gank her because or her ult unless shes just stupid low and you somehow avoid the ult which is next to impossible because she has tentacles all over the lane, and you cant destroy the tentacles because she just pushes you back you have to be ranged to even try out trading her and even then its still nearly impossible

Vallalan1 votesgaren will never be played outside of rare picks in LCS as he is way too binary and predictable. once a champion is predictable and easy to play around they are easily abused by organized teams. same with volibear.
juggernauts in general can really only do one thing and that it is run at you. once you pick one the enemy team stacks a kiting team like lulu, ezreal, karma, etc and just kite the juggernaut.
the only time juggernauts have ever been meta in pro play is when they hideously overpowered. mordekaiser, darius last worlds were disgusting. and illaoi right now isn't quite on that level but is still way too strong. basically the idea of these champs is that they work for solo queue but will never be relevant in pro play unless they are too strong.

Eh it depends on pick order.
The rise of champions like Hecarim who aren't built for disengage, but rather, engage, may allow us to see a few juggernaut games as they can capitalize on the fact that they don't have to run to the enemy since the enemy has to run to them.

He was in the meta briefly. Until Riot decided that giving a duo laner, solo lane XP was dumb.
Also, I don't know what happened, I'm watching the 2nd IMT vs P1 game, to find that P1 drew a Mord ban from IMT. So I'm going to have to go back and watch that game.
Edit: Just looked up the match history. I guess Jungle mord is a thing.
