Anyone else hoping for heavy Pyke nerfs?

Not really? He's kind of meh. Powerful when ahead, but that applies to everything.

I feel like Pyke is either going to be oppressive as fuck or completely useless.

Pyke's gameplay is misleading. You'll notice in end game scores..... Pyke usually under-damages his entire team. I can be in a constant fight the entire game, and this will always be true. Why?

The Kit doesn't have multiple hits. It basically has 2 non ult damaging abilities which when used in a fight usually don't threaten anybody but an adc or a squishy support with the damage they do. The cooldowns prevent them from being used more than once per fight.... so Pyke tends to have to auto attack 3-5 times per skirmish just to try to have a chance to R. Which a team won't let him do.

Furthermore..... his ult is disruptable. I don't know why it's a problem for you, but it's one of the few ults in the game where the skill can actually be stopped mid cast by CC, and put on a rude cooldown. Happens to me a lot.

My guess? You're overstaying your welcome. You're going balls deep into a team skirmish, and their Pyke is just waiting to secure the kills for his team. He's not even really contributing to the fight. How is that any different than any other execute champ that preys on low HP targets? It's not. And his team probably didn't need him if he popped out of nowhere, because he obviously wasn't in the fight up until that point, and they got you low enough for him to execute.
