a dying breed of champions

champions with very flexable builds, as classes and roles are being more forced on champions now and classes usually having a set itemization you have to follow a lot of champions with open builds are dying out. im not talking about someone like like kaisa who can throw some weird items in because of her ap dmg im talking about champions nocturne, nocturne as he is can go bruiser, on hit, assassin or any combination of those if he feels which is something really cool imo and helps him fit into most team comps, but like him champions like that are usually outdated and most have been reworked like evelynn

i wish they would put the breaks on all these flashy champions for a little and put out some more easy to pick up and flexable champions hell give them an interesting mechanic and keep them modern but the direction champion design is going is a bit worrying especially with so many recent releases being so frustrating to fight and hard to balance if it keeps going as it is with new champions having so much stuffed into their kits older champions with perfectly fine kits might have to get reworked to be overtuned or overloaded to have a chance against newer champs with so many options, just bring back some more simple kits and mechanics like the new champions passive and q, they're great but then they had to go and overload his e and give him a ult we already know is gonna be a balance nightmare
