There are times that your team couldn't see the enemy, but there was a ward to reveal them. If an enemy is standing in the vision of a ward, provide the person who placed the ward an assist, because they did indeed help kill the person by revealing them.

It's too long a window for granting assists. And riot is trying not to have major indirect Assist bots.

I agree it's a bad idea but if you are in range to place a ward down on them then you're in range to AA them and get the assist, not counting
