Lmao. Its funny how nobody knew or complained about this problem until some pro figured it out for them, and now people are just copying them. And its funny how this guy along with others are like, "OMFG HOW DID THEY NOT FIND THIS IN PBE WTF" PBE are people like you. Maybe a hundred people in League - more or less - found this 12 second snare and nobody gave a fuck about Ryze, even bothered to call him under powered. Then when some pro comes along, everyone's gotta blame the PBE testers, gotta say how he's so OP and yadayadayada. Its just so amusing to see rage about a champ every time they're in the LCS.

Oh yeah, btw, still waiting for that hate on Bard. Two times in the LCS and people aren't raging yet? Damn.

bard doesnt get to perma cc u. ive hated ryze since day 1. i want him removed. i want him to do negative damage. no one will care. no one. no body likes him, only the ryze mains want him to be viable. either remove him or actually make him balanced. till then he shouldnt be playable.

Perma-CC =/= 12 second root Firstly, you can still do things that don't involve moving. Secondly, it isn't a 'perma-CC', its only 6 seconds if you can stop the double-up from happening.

also, ryze still builds the same shit. i didnt see anyone complain about him till i played vs this cancer.

Then you must be pretty new to the forums, because nobody complained about the double-root until a pro player in the LCS played him, people saw what he did, and everyone started complaining and doing it themselves. Just like you.

dont change subjects next time.

Don't act like you figured this out yourself. It took one person that just happened to be famous for anyone except a select few to learn of this double-root-Ryze. Before that everyone called him under powered and said he needed a buff.

Let me make something clear about the purpose of PBE: Its a testing environment open to anyone who wishes to use it but only a portion of the league community actually plays on the PBE server and your elo/skill level in the game will determine your experience with the incoming changes. Because of these variables, its hard for riot to pinpoint whether these changes are overpowered or not. In the end, its the gameplay/experience of the thousands of people playing on the live servers that provides a more reliable and realistic statistic as to whether a champion requires buffs/nerfs.

I think it's funny that you have time to post on the forum while stuck in his snare for 12s.

Riot's aware and fixing this issue (there are a few red posts talking about changing his cooldowns around to remove the perma-snare that you only have a fraction of a second to do a frame perfect escape from). Definitely pick or ban until that happens though. :-(

It worked like this on his rework, the buff only made it extend longer. I had already tried this on Ryze well before it became LCS-popular. Because this was the same strategy you used with old Ryze. Q-W-Q-E-Q-W-Q-E to keep rotating the CD bonus, R when available...

This isn't anything new, it's just taken everyone this long to notice he could do it.

I have to agree. Seeing some of the champs coming out of the PBE broken as hell makes me wonder why we even have it.

Let me ask you this: If you happened to be in the PBE, would you find this out about Ryze? What would bring you to find this out? And why, out of several hundred, maybe, just maybe thousand people, would you find it?

Me, I wouldn't expect to find it. I would expect the Riot employees who are PAID to find these things to find it. That is their job, play the champion after a buff, nerf, or rework and find out what abilities may be OP or UP.

They don't pay people to play the game, they pay people to make it, then let us - the players - find bugs and say whether something is OP or UP. Obviously RIOT employees can be accepted into PBE if they tried, but they don't get paid to play the game.

Yes, they definitely take input from the players on bugs during the PBE process, but I'm pretty sure they do have a group that tests the champions. There are certain things players don't catch that must be left to the programmers and testers.

Riot will not hire you if you don't play the game.

So you expect people being paid to find something that took probably over a billion players to find in a few months, within weeks, simply because they're paid? lolk
