Hec is too damn disgusting. I find shaco and maokai to be highly annoying but I'd ban Hec above all. I can kill the Eve's and Zed's but no one can kill Hec through his healing and cowardly running away if you somehow DO manage to get the upper hand.

The trick to fighting Maokai (I've noticed) is to say fuck it and all in him level one. The cast time on his sapling toss screws him over.

Nope, Garen is by far the most overpowered.

He can cast E, cancel it, cast it again immediately and essentially he can keep spinning the entire game. All you have to do from that point onwards is move around.

Seriously, if Zed ults Garen, Zed will die within a second. Anybody, really, can. Build a Youmuus and 5 IEs and you crit every tick of Judgment and you can do it forever, so long as your keyboard or finger can hold up. Also not to mention the fact that E does double damage because the entire scheme is a bug.

You pick a not crazy broken champ->get facerolled by a crazy broken champ->next game you're the one picking the crazy broken champ.

The issue is that if you play a crazy broken champ you will have fun, if you pick a more sensible champion you won't have fun if the enemy pick a crazy broken one, people realize it's not fun to get shitstomped by broken champs, but since they still want to play the mode they pick crazy broken things in the next game.

*also some people happen to like some of the broken champs there to begin with.

You can't blame the players, they are picking their champs in order to have fun and not be facerolled, I don't understand why not wanting to get facerolled makes them a problem, the only problem is the game mode.

That is my main problem with URF. When no one picks the bullcrap like Shaco, Zed, Wukong, Blitzcrank or even Maokai then the game mode is really fun.

But when the enemy has at least one of them...then the mode is no fun for you. Sure it would be fun for the person playing the OP champ, but playing against it....I have more fun running circles around the nexus then trying to fight one of those champs.

Why get slowed down and charge a skill shot than instantly firing a high speed AoE nuke that speeds you up?(Okay not everyone can place the gate on top of them and fire it accurately and instantly, but for the second shot while gate is still up its easy. As I said, Jayce main.)

Idk, I see a lot of "meta" spammers, but I see a lot of creative cancer, too. For example:

Karma AP tank (my pick for this weekend) Nasus AP liandry's rylai's spamming E (my most success this weekend) Nocturne Can't be killed by casters except Heimer and Zyra Fiddlesticks 100% cc uptime Irelia Goodbye Ezreal Jayce Nonstop empowered shockblasts, crushes you if you get close Anivia WALL SPAM, endless ulti, 80% reduced cooldown on Eggnivia KogMaw +Rylai's = doom from the fog JarvanIV Uncatchable flag spammer Quinn Nonstop blinds, passive always up, uncatchable with Vault kite Zyra Obvious reasons, and totally underplayed in URF Janna as AP, ADC, tank, she shits in your cornflakes constantly and can tank towers Sivir Q/E spam Varus Q spam

Like...there are tons of fun/crazy/broken URF champs that aren't in everybody's "most broken meta" list.

See this is how I see every ranked and normal game. The same stupid champs over and over again. And the same bans.

Urf mode is worlds more fun and you just can't think outside your little same old boring repetitive ranked game box.

Be imaginative. Don't cry your normal champ is garbage because you always thought you were good.

You gotta just play what you want mate. I ended up trying almost every champion over the course of this weekend. The most fun I had was Rammus because the enemy team picked MasterYi XinZhao and other AD champions.

The game was very okay and hella hilarious (almost perma taunting was particularly fun xD)

Every champion has a unique twist or gameplay aspect integrated into their kit, completely different to other champions. 95% of these champions (bar Yasuo, Aurelion Sol, and a few other unique cases) become overly bearing and absolutely tedious to deal with when they can abuse their main source of functionality without any sort of repercussion (mana, CD, etc.)

I mean If I dedicated 30 minutes into a list on why every champion is bullshit in URF, I feel like I'd be able to cover every single one without much difficulty (excluding the ones I mentioned above).

Basically every champion in URF is batshit broken. Can't do anything to change that apart from banning. It's still a really fun game mode.
