PSA to junglers/mids

If your top/bot/mid (for junglers) asks for help while the lane is still winnable, and you decide not to help at all (visit the top side of the map on the first clear, then for the 2nd time at 20 minutes), please refrain from flaming said player.

Yes, this is a bit of a vent thread, but still. Had a few games in a row, where I was camped and tower dove by their jungler and top laner, but managed to survive, and even keep it even up to a point, and yes, I did ask for help, both with pings and typing nicely, yet my jungler ignored it, after my enemy laner got too big for me to deal with it, I get a "nice feed" or "I hope you get banned" from them.

It's not just disrespectful, but terribly tilting, hence why you see the "noob top" in your team.

i understand your frustration. take note of how you were ganked and instead of asking for help, ping for an objective. if the enemy jungle is top side that leaves mid and bot open to ganks as well as a coordinated drake rush. if you had tp in lane, instead of tping back to tower, youre playing safe and getting dove, tp bot tower and immediately engage. even if you don't kill them you can pick up harras as well as a few creeps if your lucky. summoners who are good laners tend to get ganked A LOT. something ive noticed from watching dyrone. take pride in the fact your a good laner and ask for a lane swap with mid or bot, and use your pressure as a top lane effectively to get kills/assists, and pick up objectives like towers and drakes. im sure you already ward, but try and coordinate a counter jungle with your own jungle so you clear the top side jungle leaving the enemy lacking gold. mute in game if someone shows signs of toxicity, and post game just take a break. youd be surprised at how well it can change your mentality.

First game (today) where I got camped was by a Yi against Darius, with out Lee jg dying to the enemy mid because Vel'Koz didn't want to help him, after which Vel kept telling me that he hopes I get banned (I did mute him after he told me that it doesn't matter I was 2v1, I should've won lane if I were a good player). I was warding my trybush, but I couldn't river ward because I was constantly under tower due to Darius' push. Yi kept his Q for aggro change so neither would die after the dive.

Second game was vs a Zac jg, with me as Fiora vs Irelia, I did have wards, but he just came from weird angles with his jump. Lane ended up 4-4 for both me and Irelia, after she respawned she tp on a Zac passive, and even tho I asked my team to ward so I can tp and help, they didn't, and because the fight was in the enemy jungle, I had nothing to tp to get there in time. I was ganked by both Talon and Zac multiple times, I just couldn't keep up.

And thanks for the cheer up.

Almost in all recent games the jungler would do whatever he wanted, very few cases where the jungler actually cared to talk or listen, so coordinating with them is hard, especially in Silver, where if you die 2-3 times, regardless of reason, you are already labeled as "trash" and noone would listen to you.

There's no other way to get better, so I'll just keep improving (yes, I do take breaks after stupid games), but I just had to let it out a little. When I played with my friends in normal, had the same thing happen, enemy jungler camps top, I can't keep up, get flamed, and now in ranked as well, for a total of 4 games in a row just tilted me too much.

The flaming is uncalled for however as a jungler I often need to decide between balancing a losing lane or snowball a winning lane. The choice is difficult and no matter which one I pick, the one I didn't pick will make threads sort of like this. No one really likes to be made the lowest priority, but it's my role to drive the game in a direction positive for my team as whole.

I can understand that very well, I am not a jungler main, to I try to learn the role a bit in normal games, so I can understand that.

I guess I didn't mention it, but I don't mind if he doesn't help, I want to win as much as anyone, so if you leaving me be is what's needed to win, then please do. What I ment with the thread is that if I ask you to help, you don't say anything, then my lane goes bad, you shouldn't flame me, especially when I am 2v1 because the other jungler camps me.

I am a mid main, so I can understand quite well the "help a losing lane get back or try to push the lead of a winning lane" dilema, that's why, as I said, I don't mind not getting the help. The problem is when you don't help THEN flame me for not keeping up, or even tell me that "if I was a good players, I would've easily won 2v1".

I get it, like I said the flaming you was uncalled for. If a lane is losing and I neglect in order to snowball a really powerful lane instead, I have no right to criticize the lane I neglected for continuing to die. I knew full well that would be the likely outcome. Generally the idea is behind who is doing well and who isn't doing well mechanically. Also who is the most important for what stage of the game I think my team can win. Does my team get an overall power-spike at around 20 minutes or is it 30 minutes? Do I even want to go for 30 minutes ,or does the enemy team outscale and I need to get my early/mid game power house champions online ASAP in order to avoid late game? That's the short version of the jungler's dilemma.

Sadly, many players in lower ranks don't understand that thing, and would rather look for scape goats than take the blame.

As I said, I can understand that dilema, hence why I don't mind not getting help.

Thanks for replying, gl and hf in the Fields of (whatever little) Justice (is left)
