Riot has made it clear through various posts that they will be hitting marksmen and fighters in 8.10/8.11 and that 8.8 and 8.9 are meant to be in preparation for it. I don't know if the nerfs will ruin mages or not, but neither do you. I'm just asking you to wait until midseason roles around in May. It's really not the long to wait.

So we should just all shut our mouths and wait? When is it safe to say what we think according to you, like season 9?
Kairoptra1 votesQuit putting words in my mouth. I'm just saying until midseason. If everything’s awful then, I won't say to wait until a specific date. I'm just saying that the changed may currently be out of context. When we see whatever changes Riot has during midseason, it could all fit together. They did say 8.8 and 8.9 were just preparation. Of course, I am by no means ruling out the possibility that it will flop, but as of right now we are in no position to say.

That means that the mana changes are only part of everything that’s going to be happening; we don’t have the whole picture. You don’t know, and I don’t know.
Anyway, 1 or 2 patches isn’t that much to ask. I’m not asking you to work on Riot’s time and wait for them forever, but at least wait until we know everything they’re doing.
