Question about lane bullies.

I'm curious, is it a good idea to allow yourself to have 1/2 as much cs as your enemy laner to avoid feeding him ? Think Akali vs Darius. Going for that low health minion with a melee champion like Akali or Irelia vs Darius could end up giving him a kill.

I've been thinking about all the games where I fed horrendously and its been because of this most times. I'm trying to figure out what is the best adaptation.

it is if you scale way better than they do! if you can't rely on outscaling, then you'll just have to try to coordinate with your team to get your lane ganked or start roaming; top lane's shot at that point.

problem is now that there is no drawback to lane bullies, because now every lane bully gets % missing hp and true damage in some form. Wish tanks could be useful again, which riot doesn't want to ever happen again....

If you get killed, you miss out on both cs and exp anyway. Even against a lane bully half their cs is a bit excessive though.

True. To reiterate, there is 2 points:

  • if you die, you'll lose the CS anyway, so the first priority is always to not die. Like when you defend an un-defendable tower, you end up dying and the tower is still lost anyway. First priority is to not die.
  • but you shouldn't be bullied to 1/2 their CS, there must be another problem somewhere. Maybe they are over-pushed, but in this case your jungler should take the easy gank. Maybe you're just bad at CS-ing, against a lane bully or not, but it's easy to train in Customs. Etc. Try to identify the other problem, and solve it.

Actually my problem is that I'm abysmal at csing under my turret. I can last hit quite well though. I can easily hit 80+ cs by 10 minutes if I'm up against a very passive opponent. Problem is though, 95% of my games I get bullied by my opponents which why I decided to make this thread.

Then if you can cs under turret well when versing a lane bully then it's something you need to work on. Even though I main support and secondary jg i still do my best practicing to cs wether it be under tower or out. The best way to get better at csing is to really focus on how many turret plus basic hits it takes to kill a minion ay certain hp. t full hp it's obviously the easiest normally for Frontline minions it'll be 2 turret hits plus a basic most of the time. On the back wizards it's usually a basic a turret hit and then another basic. Whenever you about to miss some cs to the tower because your auto hasn't reset feel free to burn a spell or two to get it. Also I know it's annoying but custom games do help. Just have a friend join in to push the wave under tower. That's what I did in order to improve my cs Ing. Only took about 20 minutes before I was able to just gradually get better with it In pvp (when the adc backs of course).
