Don't buff akali or anything. She's fine being a niche pick with lots of gimmicks. It's what happens when you release a champion with a shit kit.

Both kits are great in terms of being viable, both are bad in terms of being healthy for the game.

Gotcha, can you elaborate a bit more? I'm super interested as Akali is one of like 3 champs who I have never played, and she is interesting to me because her stealth is so different from others'

Old kit had:

Lots of free sustain.
Poke.
Short blink.
Invisibility.
Slow.
Wave clear.
3 point and click dashes meaning they never miss.

New kit has:

Sustain (albeit, not as much).
TRUE STEALTH (Just. Why?)
Disengage.
Reengage.
Two consecutive dashes.

This is not to mention tons and tons of damage that scales off of both AD and AP.

Both kits are annoying and unfun to play against, but Akali's new kit is certainly healthier.

It's mostly the true stealth part that makes it unhealthy.

Turn it into normal stealth, and we might have a pretty balanced champion.

Old Akali had absolutely terrible poke. Legit everyone with any ranged ability poked better than her.

I didn't say it was good poke. I just said it was poke.

Whether it was good or bad, it was still uninteractive and annoying.

They should've changed her original quote "So many noobs... Will matchmaking ever find true balance?" to "So much frustration... Will my kit ever find true balance?" upon the rework.
