Rumble...Why Rumble?

Rumble is not broken. I can't even seem to remember a time when Rumble was broken. And he's been competitively viable consistently since season 4 or earlier? So then, why does a champion as consistent as Rumble need BIG changes?

Note: I am not trying to start a debate as to how good or bad the changes are. I'm questioning the very decision to change him in any significant way. Why do it?

Because unless people have played many many games vs Rumble they have no idea when to engage on him. With the way his kit works, there are very particular times to engage on him but it's a small window. They are trying to make that window more obvious.

Pretty much what LostFrost said. I believe they're buffing his damage output but reducing the window during which he can use that damage so that his opponents can take advantage of his downtimes.
