With the coming of Season 9, can we get any updates as to the state of Clash?

Please Riot, myself and undoubtedly many others have been waiting for the return of Clash after the 1-day re-trial so long ago. I just want any new information. 5-man competitive league is infinitely more fun than solo-queue or normals (imo), and I'd like to get my squad back together to compete.

Dynami...sorry, "flex" queue doesn't cut it.

Any new information would be a godsend from you guys.
