You forgot this part of his passive: This bonus lasts for 0.5 seconds upon exiting brush or stealth. Unseen Predator occurs regardless of whether or not his target has Sight icon sight of him.

Over exaggerations.

I know this cause I play Rengar. There is a brief moment when stepping out of a brush still gives you your passive leap, it's the only way to leap into Baron pit from the bush on the backside of the red buff. This is literally less then a second, no where near 2 seconds, not even close. In 2 seconds someone could walk from one side of a lane to the other (perpendicularly obviously), which is obviously far out of Rengar's leap range and horribly unbelievable to claim he did as such at any point in time.

He may have walked out after activating his ult and jumped as soon as it allowed him too, giving the illusion of leaping after 2 seconds, but the fact of the matter is without his ult leaping after 2 seconds of walking out of a bush is simply not true.

Its because his passive doesn't immediately disappear after he leaves the bush, which gives him maybe some time to jump on you, but 2 seconds is over exaggerating.

Once I was doing ARAM with friends and got Rengar. At one point the enemy taric was low and juuuuuust out of range of my bush jump. I clicked him anyway and proceeded to chase him as he ran to the opposite end of lane. having been out of the bush for several seconds and being halfway through lane, rengar jumped on him and killed him. Me and all my friends (and taric) immediately called bs on that. (Honestly to me, Rengar feels super glitchy to play.)

0.5 second linger time due to Bush being an Aura and the leap occuring at any time when Rengar is affected by the Aura and autoattacks.

It allows him to be able to leap on a target that is hiding in the middle of the lane away from the bush and make him more viable of an early game jungler. It is why boots of mobility are a must buy for Rengar, it allows him to cover a greater distance during the .5 second window and allow him to jump.
