Sated Devourer Udyr.

I see all these posts talking about how Warwick Shyvana MasterYi are going to be broken with this new devourer. Did everyone fucking forget about Udyr ??

Let's do some math. Let's say a level 18 full-build Udyr with

item 3718 item 3078 item 3111 item 3143 item 3065 item 3075

Let's assume armor/lvl yellows, mr/lvl blues, AS reds, and MS quints with 9/21/0 in masteries.

At level 18 with these items, his stats will be:

157 AD 3566 HP 316 armor 187 MR

Pretty tanky, right? Let's see what happens if he uses this Sated Devourer passive timed with his Q (Tiger Strike) and item 3078 spellblade proc. Recall that a max-level Tiger Strike does 230+160%AD.

That means, in a single Q+Auto he will do 157 (his total AD) + 400%*113 (his base AD from two applications of item 3078 spellblade) + 460 + 320%*157 (Tiger Strike twice) = 1571 physical damage + 120 magic damage (from Sated Devourer). That's almost a one-shot on an enemy squishy. He can literally two-shot carries now. That doesn't even take into account any true damage done from the Challenging summoner 11 effect, whatever damage ADCs do to themselves from item 3075, or even the fact that his attack speed is so high (about 1.5 with this build).

MasterYi can probably match this damage but he's a squishy carry that can be blown up after a hard CC or two. Warwick can only attempt to match this kind of damage if he uses his ULTIMATE which is nowhere near as low cooldown as Udyr Tiger Strike. I think only Shyvana would be able to match this level of tankyness AND damage output on low cooldown.

I'm not going to say "rito pls" or say this is "broken" because this is actually exciting. I genuinely like attack speed junglers (except MasterYi fuck him but everyone else is chill). Remember that this is still a tank meta, with tanks being pretty strong now so giving some buffs to attack speed junglers isn't actually all that bad. Attack speed junglers can still get kited pretty hard, get cc'd to death, and require to farm up Devourer to have time to scale, so less early game ganks.

Just some food for thought.

Except Spellblade won't get procced twice.

It is an on-next attack effect, not an on-hit effect. Similar to Nasus' Q, Jax' Empower, Shyvana's Twin Bite active effect and so on.

Are you sure? Have you tested this on the PBE? From my understanding it's "take all the on-hit effects of your next basic attack and apply them twice"

On a similar note, it also means that Jax jungle would also be really strong

Just wait to see what Trick thinks about it.

I don't need to wait. I already did the math. It's going to be insanely strong.

Btw, Udyr would rather have item 3110 >item 3075

Why? For the mana and CDR? I like item 3075 more because it basically means he will out-damage the enemy ADC no matter what and hurt them even while he's being kited by like Kalista for example.
