This is true. And, quite frankly, it is true of every champion in LoL, at least as far as being "overpowered" is concerned. The people in this forum that think LoL isn't well balanced have never played a truly unbalanced game.

There have been games in which 1 class makes up 80% of the population of the game simply because it is so superior to every other option.

There are also games that are so obsessed with rock/paper/scissors that they are all the hardest of hard counters to each other. If you are "rock" and you ever run into "paper," you auto-lose.

Yes, League has some "underpowered" issues of some champs being cyclically unviable, but out of 100+ champs, that still makes for a fairly large pool of options.
