Wasn't protobelt meant to give option to low mobility mages?
Why is it now a item that provides extra burst for ap assassins who are already mobile?
nerf its damage, and maybe buff the ap to compensate.

The problem is, Any mobility item added for immobile champions will be abused by mobile champions. Any burst item added for low burst champions will be abused by bursty champions. Any DPS item added for low DPS champions will be abused by high DPS champions. Any defensive item added for squishy champions will be abused by tanky champions. Any CC item added for low CC champions will be abused by high CC champions.
It is always better to amplify your champion's strengths than try to cover its weaknesses.
the thing is, protobelt provides more burst than mobility imo, it is so much better of a burst item than a mobility item.
The problem with Protobelt is that multiple bolts can hit a single target, leading to melee AP assassins to buy it so they can shotgun their opponents with it. Its damage per bolt isn't super high, but I've killed a super minion from full health with this item alone because of a proper shotgun.
And runeglaive was added for auto attack based ap junglers. Every new item for the lower champion tiers will be abused by one of the power tiers. Or Ezreal. Usually Ezreal.
No it was put in the game to make Kennen overpowered enough for massive outplays at worlds
I mean, I honestly don't give a shit about worlds at this point with the boring as fuck caitlyn zyra auto win every bot lane, top lane is an island most of the time anyways.
I mean, if you're banning Kennen and giving up Jayce every game, you don't need to go top. Either they are losing so hard you can't help, or you're on the team with Jayce and don't need to help because he's snowballing. Even if he isn't ahead, he just needs to get some items before he can kill people anyhow.
why does it even do damage? that's what i'd like to know
