Lets look at armor pen/lethality
Theres so many items that all give awesome bonuses 
AP has to sacrifice defensive boots to get magic pen 
, and then theres only 2 items with either no passive 
or is overpriced and has a terrible build path 
And then not only that theres 
and 
making assassins and bruisers unkillable like wtf?

Too tired to look into this, but isn't there is a difference between penetration and lethality? No point in having both if it's the same thing.
Marshbouy2 votesNot really. Lethality is just armor pen but different. It's flat armor pen. % armor pen is better against tanks while flat is better against squishies.
ModWulf Helhammer1 votesLethality is flat armor pen, but most of it scales with your champion level. %apen (last whisper items) is better against tanky targets, also because it only affects bonus armor
AP only has two stats: flat pen, and %total pen. In combo with the lower amounts of MR in general, AP has the better end of the deal, as their stuff works universally
Dark Nephthys1 votesMagic pen still only applies to abilities which have CDs as opposed to armor pen which works on both abilities and auto attacks. (Well technically magic pen works with auto attacks on 
but he is a special case lol). Also isn't really an item that can be utilized by every mages which basically leaves only as the only real options for some mages.
