Tryndamere outclasses Yorick in split pushing in just about everyway possible

The title just showcases that Yorick 's "niche" is is completely outclassed by Tryndamere and is even beaten by Tryndamere.

A juggernaut split pusher hmm must be effective? despite how tanky you can be you can only tank so many shots while the enemy support and top laner come to rotate where maybe you can get around 30 - 40% of the towers HP then die or get caught off for performing your "niche". Tryndamere however due to his low CD ult can simply ignore everything and can even kamikaze himself into the tower due his crits and benefits from attack speed from his build.

So why on earth would i pick Yorick over Tryndamere ?

I ask this question to Riot games because Riot showcases Yorick as a split pusher but as you get into higher ELO his cheesy tactics wear off and he starts to feel quite linear with what he can actually do.

He needs changes he was a recently reworked champion surely he must have some type of relevance in today's meta?

less of a yorick problem, and more of a tryndamere problem.

yorick could use some love and some slight buffs to get him into the game. but tryn is really just shit design in almost every regard.

Yorwicks can split without even being there. If he buys a zz rot for bot lane and ults top, he can create pressure in all 3 lanes

ZZ rot has no range now so wont it take ages to create a push? Yorick's ghouls die quick so hes much weaker without ult 1v1 and Yorick isnt much use in a teamfight without ult.

Yorick falls off to uselessness late game. Like I catch Vayne in my wall she oneshots our lee who misses his q, I get onto her before she even attacks me and she facetanks me and my ult easily. With % pen items how are you supposed to do anything late? And you cant build damage on most juggernauts because you are too kiteable.

thats also a vayne problem imo^^

the champion is downright unfair to fight. its basically what pre rework talon and rengar were to adc and other squishies.

vayne has 0 counterplay for tanks and juggs due to the nature of her kit. there is no way to dodge silver bolts damage, or the damage on her q, to deny her invisibility or the steroid on her ult, or to evade her knockback. all of her abilities are 100% reliable. either you can stat check vayne or she stat checks you. usually the latter.

I have a hard time believe Trynd would win a duel with Yorick, especially midgame. Trynd doesn't get a way to deal with armor until late game, and if you ghoul well, he should be popping his ult in the first few seconds.

What? item 3035 Ignoring half of your opponents armour for 1300 gold isnt a midgame option? Yorick does outscale Trynd after a long time in lane without kills and gets outscaled later. Thats how it went in my matches as Yorick.

You answered your own question - if Yorick outscales Trynd without kills, then obviously LW isn't enough.

I played those matches before Last Whisper was stupid like now and you're unlikely to see a Trynd build it end of laning phase to early midgame. People dont counterbuild, not even item 3123 when a hard carrying Swain is basically the whole enemy team and you requested it.

And late game as long as Tryndamere doesn't build like an idiot he curbstomps Yorick 1v1.

Anyway, Tryndamere does outclass Yorick in splitpushing, but he outclasses everyone in splitpushing. There is not a single champion in the game who splitpushes as well as Tryndamere overall. Some (like Nasus) can effectively counter split him, but they aren't as generally good at splitpushing as he is.

This is because it is essentially the only thing he is good at.

I say Fiora is a skill match up.

Although I don't feel like that build has enough damage to kill Yorick, although Bork changes and crits damage may change that.

It isn't Trynds fault that Riot buffed botrk. Also Trynd has been a split pusher forever. Why should Yorick be better at it.

Just because you want it that way? If you want to play form to win then go ahead. Otherwise you play champs because you enjoy playing them.

Of all the champs to complain about people are bitching about trynd. The boards are just amazing.

You can even buy item 3075 item 3143 and still get shit on due to him having level lead from diving your ass the first 30 min
