Is Yuumi even considered a champion in games?

I've been playing a few PBE games and a lot of people consider Yuumi to be half or none of a champion, just attaches to an ally the entire game, providing benefit as low as some heals

Sounds like a sheer disadvantage but I think it's just pure exaggeration

They are playing yuumi wrong then. yuumi is a adc not a support like riot thought she would be

She's the ultimate egirl champ. Can't position? Let your adc do it for you Can't land skill shots? Drag it around until it lands. You'll even do bonus damage for not hitting it right away. Sona ult too hard to land? Throw it out and let your adc reposition you until it does land.

I'm sure she'll have some decent skill expression, but I just really don't like her kit from the little I've played her. Give it time and I'm sure she'll be broken in her own way.

Thats because theyre too focused on playing with the new toy, and don't care about playing effectively. You should be playing Yuumi like a slightly safer Soraka/Sona, but using Attach for mobility especially as ADCs pick up items and get faster than you.

Sivir Twitch Jhin Ezreal Lucian are likely to be her best pairings.

Maybe? Having a healer who can sit on her face might be helpful but tris prefers more lock down and burst to peel or poke.

Unless Yuumi's numbers are excessively high like Sona's are (currently), she won't pair well with Tris. Sivir gives Yuumi a spell shield, Jhin gives Yuumi the absolute strongest heals possible short of a Mejais 25 stack mage or a late game Veigar (possibly Rengar), Twitch has the camo Ez/Lucian are nimble and don't require additional peel with high one-shot potential that Yuumi supports well. Note: Blue Build Ezreal is exempt from this and is a horrible combination with Yuumi. However, Blue Ez is just garbage anyway, in most games.

Tris MAY end up being up there in the synergy list, but I dont expect her to breach top 5.
