Name one champ with a more reliable stun than Veigar

Even without his stun, Veigar is a very powerful champ. Quite possibly the most loaded kit among AP champs with his insane AP ratios and free Ap for farming his 'q'. Also, unlike Nasus, Veigar's 'q' farming benefits ALL of his abilities, instead of just one of them.

Anyways, I just wanted to talk about the stun for a minute. Veigar's stun is the most reliable, and offers more utility than any other stun in this game. (It's essentially a thresh ult at level 1 if he chooses to take it early). And there are instances where the stun is useful at level 1. Let's say you're planning to invade and steal the jungler's buff. You could potentially stun an entire team if they are all defending the buff. Or you could prevent them from taking an objective simply by placing it over the monster. Veigar's stun offers an enormous amount of map control because of it's size, and when used correctly makes it extremely easy to secure objectives. Aside from the utility, Veigar's stun is also the most reliable and safest stun among Ap champs, due to it's massive range and size (compared to champs like Xerath, Lux, and Anivia;much smaller hitbox and less range). So, Veigar doesn't just hyperscale, he also has the most reliable CC.
