Extended range while in bushes, along with the dash onto rooted targets, helps to mitigate his otherwise low (normal for a melee, though) range.

The usual baseline is 125 actually

He's a melee attacker who gets temporary range for being in bushes.

He gains ranged attack when he plops down a bush, or enters a bush.

Yasuo, Mordekaiser, Fizz, Garen, Darius, Tahm Kench, and Kled are the only melee champs with over 125 auto range, I believe.
