Lack of game knowledge - Is demotion fair?

Mastery level 6 Zed who feeds and builds Shiv first item followed by IE and Essence Reaver (looked the guy up and he has plenty of these trash builds even on other champs like Quinn with bork and shiv). Look guys, I'm not claiming to be high elo, but I'm trying to climb and people like these are making it much more difficult. When you build these items it shows a severe lack of basic game knowledge. I'm wondering: Why isn't this guy in b5?

Is it really unfair for people like this to be demoted by a mod to the elo they belong in? This Zed literally did nothing for 30 minutes and there is NO WAY this guy was even remotely close to be playing at this own level.

Instead you should feel ashamed at yourself for being at the same rank as him

Everyone deserves to be the rank they are at, and everyone has the right to play how they want to play whether it's champion choice or build path. Ranked queue is not a dictatorship

If he can get to that rank using garbage builds, it is because in other areas of the game he is better than the people around him that compensates for those builds. He deserves to be where he is as much as you do.
