Looking for someone to tell me what im doing wrong with lucian. You can check my match history if you want. Maybe its my build? I dont know. Im losing most games with him and yet hes probably my best adc, even when the team is far behind i manage not to die a lot and majority of the time i have far more cs then everyone else. Any advice is welcomed :) i really dont understand why i keep losing so much with him when i feel like i do so well.
heckin dead2 votesperhaps work on your combos. With lucian, his passive will always proc as long as you get the first auto off.

Ill tell you. When weaving your abilities between auto attacks, as soon as you get the first auto off after using an ability, use your next ability (ie: Q > first auto >w/e). The second auto will ALWAYS follow the first, even if you dont sit there waiting for it to go off. Having your timing down for such a combo is crucial in maximizing his potential.
Also, use the movespeed from W to outplay/outrun/pursue your opponent.
Also, never use your E to dash into a fight. Always use it to dodge/kite.

as long as you get the first auto off you are good. it takes alot of time to master the timing on it though so dont get discouraged.

Eswatini1 votesThe only thing I can suggest is trying the more pro build for Lucian which is Yomuus into Black Cleaver. Again however that can't be the sole reason for you losing. You can try and watch how Doublelift uses Lucian, his technical ability on Lucian is really good. When I play Lucian I make sure to make full use of his passive as that is a lot of the damage output so you could consider that. Helping you without actually watching you play would be difficult though.
Wolf Queen1 votesty :) i just finished watching some videos with him and lucian and his guide video :3 I usually used mr per lvl blues and he uses cdr blues. I dont have much cdr in my builds perhaps i should try that.

coeurloyal1 votesI personally don't like the BoRK build on him because he's so ability-centric in his trading and his autos don't come out nearly as quickly as other AA-based ADC's (i.e., Twitch, Vayne, Jinx, Kog'Maw, etc.). I would recommend you drop it in favor of Black Cleaver. The current meta dictates that he builds Youmuu's, BC, PD, IE, BT.
It's not really possible to give you any other solid critiques without watching games; if I had to guess I would blame positioning, though. I've found that Lucian is harder to position in teamfights than most ADC's because he has a shorter range than almost all of them. He's very reliant on following up on allied engages and using his E to stay safe, so it's really easy to mis-position with him. Your CS numbers are on point with your enemy, but it looks like you're either losing trades in lane or losing team fights, which is why I'm looking at positioning.

I think my positioning is decent since im usually the one left alive after fights, except when a zed just insta kills me :/. But ill work on that too ^^ and trades are a bit hit or miss if i lose them or not. Its about 50/50

You're probably right about your teamfighting; it makes sense that your death count would be high because your team is losing, and your death count usually isn't as high as those on your team. I'm not sure that I can really blame your trading either, because Lucian's top 2 counters are Jhin and Jinx (which you played against a ton). Your loss record may be a product of the matchups/ the meta picks being bad matchups for Lucian.
