Season 7 jungle looks rough for ivern

It seems like the changes are going to take away his biggest strengths in the early game, which would be fine if he were really overturned currently.

Ya.... do vision plants reveal eve btw? Cuz if so, it's gonna be hard to get good tanks, invades, and heck, even my own clears without the enemy finding me.

Care to elaborate?

assassins are encouraged to invade. ivern is frequently low in his own jungle and or has trouble 1v1ing anyone in the later stages.

additionally the plants dont help him at all, his Q already acts to close distances to camps even over walls, so all other champs are basically buffed while he remains neutral. blue one vision is unnecessary because he can drop a push where he wants for vision, and since ivern loses a flat amount of health and mana per camp clear he doesn't need health, he needs both, health only helps those who actually fight camps.

How? Because smite got nerfed?

I mean you can say that but please give me actual arguments on why you think that will happen. I personally think the opposite is the case.

To sum it up, jungle camps got stronger but give you more EXP and gold, the clear takes longer overall. Ivern does not care about this. He will still take the same damage as right now and his clear will still be as fast as it is right now while on literally every other champion this is not the case. All that really happens for Ivern in the jungle is that he gets more EXP and gold and can gank much earlier than his enemy does.

Camps changes in a way that ivern can't q between them. Krugs breaking up into groups hurts his playstyle. He will be slower overall in clears.

He doesn't care about Krugs since he sets them free so he doesn't even have to deal with that in the first place. He still can Q between camps, they won't remove it in the pre-season, where did you even get this from? The locations of the camps haven't changed aswell. All you say has nothing to back it up.

When he sets them free he has to wait to the small ones and set them free too. He can't reach his q between camps because of the lack of little guys in red and blue buff.

Have you actually tested his interaction with Krugs in the PBE?

And he can still actually root to blue and red buff.
