Gold is easier than Silver, change my mind

Got my main account to Gold already, had MUCH better luck going through Silver elo on that one than this account, yet on this account I'm getting consistent afks, trolls, people having bad games, people flaming each other into full tilt over blaming each other, giving up after 3 deaths, the works. There's a serious issue with Silver elo when you can try your hardest, try to remain positive, and are given the worst possible people to play with while given the best people to play against.

I've had some bad games sure, I cop to that, I need to tighten up my macro play and cs always, but I give it my all every game!

Please Riot, I haven't seen so much as an Instant Feedback Report in MONTHS despite all the very warranted reports of these people and nothing happens to them! I can look up anyone who's ruined games in the past month and they will still be plugging away like nothing is wrong.

My main account? Even teams, back and forth games, I win some I lose some, but it's almost never been a one sided stomp by my recollection, and I'm still managing to pull off wins and get my teams rallied and working together.

Gold elo also, much more aggressive play all around, more confident, faster, hell it's NIGHT AND DAY compared to Silver where the game actually feels like it's lagging at times. Gold account? Streamlined and fast paced, everybody giving their all.

Why can't you take better measures to sift the actual bad players and trolls into Iron and Bronze where they belong? The bad player/troll has more impact on the game than the person with a lead. That's a serious problem.

Also here in Silver it always comes down to which bot lane or jungler is auto filled. Most of these games are a one sided stomps wherein one side is completely out matched in every way with no way to fight back at any stage after early game. Every game enemy team is grouping 4 bot and consistently grouping after while my team wanders around wondering why the team isn't grouping.

Nobody builds for the situation, no matter how much it would help the team.

Silver is even worse of a shit show this season, or me finally hitting Gold+ has spoiled me.

And this is why I don't play ranked much. I just can't do it. I always just get myself up to silver 1 or 2 in case the gold skin is something I want but other then that I can't do it.

I rather play normal games.

Gold has always been the eye of the storm. You have Silver which is hell and then you have platinum which is also hell but unlike silver, at platinum you have players saying "stfu team, I will 1v9 carry ya scrubs" and then proceed to die multiple times just to rage quit while at silver, the players just learn the game. If you ask me, Platinum is not shiny silver, it is degenerated silver and here comes an advice. If you don't plan on playing duo games with someone you know irl don't get to Platinum and stay in Gold where you have enjoyement potential (at least until the system fudges you over and your mmr becomes crap)

yes gold is easier than silver only on account of lower variance of skill and better attitudes overall. silver is like the bind climbing over the blind. platinum is more mental warfare with allied team than the enemy team. :/

For me, playing at the platinum / diamond level is less tiring than at the levels below the platinum level where there are remarkably weak individuals either mechanically or mentally. The second thing is that people in silver etc are completely unpredictable to play with or against and sometimes there are frustrating situations. To this I will add that they are NOT very weak mechanically but they choose strange characters and it makes the game difficult. And there is the "youtube montage" players case. Trying Vayne for the first time: D
