Despite raptor nerfs jungle seems better?

I haven't played jungle since season 5 so maybe season 6 was epic for junglers but so far with the new changes I constantly find myself with plenty of gold and my CS actually rivals the laners. Has it always been this way and I've just gotten more experience in the game or was there a point when junglers were just a step up from supports for cash income?

Given that raptors were a sometimes stop for mid laners, I'm not entirely happy. They weren't just for the junglers.

Well, only blue side can effectively take advantage of this. Red => Krugs = lvl 3 jungler gank on bot lane like 2 minutes in.
