Ohmwrecker - Can it get buffed to be less specific and scale into late game?

Buff Ohmwrecker Point Runner (not on other items as well) back to 30%, so it's the premier speed item under turrets.

Then have Ohmwrecker passively charge up 2 or 3 stacks that will block tower shots on the champion. This will let the wearer consistently take some tower shots without a really specific active but also require them to make sure they're the ones initiating under the tower.

And for late game when taking shots is less meaningful, give Ohmwrecker a +AR/Health buff that scales with the amount of destroyed enemy towers. This could be towers destroyed while you own Ohmwrecker, to encourage it as an early item similar to RoA.

This means Ohmwrecker is useful for movement for the entire game.

It is useful for diving or poking early game.

When the dive and poke becomes less meaningful late-game, the amount of destroyed towers will give a stat increase that makes up for the diminishing value of the tower shield.

It's fairly useless anyway.

By the time someone gets round to buying it a team member is already tank enough to ignore the wet noodle turrets anyway.

Just remove the item

It's a useless niche item that Riot tries to glorify here and there. Never practical to buy, especially in a tankier meta, and there are always better items than to turn off an enemy tower for a couple seconds since by the time it's needed, towers really aren't much of a factor besides to stall minion waves while you're not in lane. The entire theme and point of the item needs to be changed. It's not that the item needs to be amazing, it's that it needs to be better than other powerful, necessary support items in common situations. And it simply can't do that with the active and theme it has. If towers were a serious factor in fights, maybe, but as it stands, towers are little paper objectives who only threaten half health assassins that dive solo.
