Today I played my first support game in a while, which makes me don't wanna do it the second time
So I am a S5 support main, highly experienced in support. but ever since the dynamic queue system came out I had been staying away from support because I want to climb faster. the support games I played this season also makes me feel kinda underwhelming for support.
today I decided to pick back up support after getting annoyed by the 20 minute queue time, instantly got into a lobby and I played my main
. I was playing super well almost had my perfect kda got my mid and adc very fed and we got all 3 of the enemy inhibs. Then we lost the game because mid and adc gets one-shotted every time by the enemy mage/cancer yi since they have poor positioning. Despite all the lead we have we lost.
THERE WAS LITERALLY NOTHING I CAN DO AS A SUPPORT TO CHANGE THIS.
I have 5 active items and a captain boot. I use my exhaust on yi(but doesnt do jackshit because rito made his ult immune to attackspeed slow and movement speed slow), speed up my team, had my zzrot and banner pushing, had the entire jg warded, hooked enemy adc, silenced entire enemy team, knocked up whoever trying to touch my carries. I AM LITERALLY PLAYING A CHAMPION WITH 12 ABILITIES but it won't save my team.
I question myself: what is the point of playing support anymore? Why do I have to play a champion with 12 different abilities when I can play some braindead devourer jg and just rightclick delete people? Or I can play some mage staying in the back randomly throwing out my aoe and if one of the hit it can nearly oneshot the enemy? Or at least I can be that carry and not die for stupid reasons like the ones I am supporting for? ESPECIALLY when they arent being thankful for my sacrifices and hard work.
Support is no fun anymore.
or something with
under the effects of
Q, or some other heavy armor reduction. I mean, I know Jinx is squishy but she isn't THAT squishy.
